To my state of loneliness…

Dear loneliness,

Jesus was lonely, too.

Surrounded by thousands

and by His best friends

Yet, alone.

No one understood.

Nor wanted to.

At times I think people care,

sometimes they don’t.

Sometimes I feel alone.

Do they hear me?

Understand me?

Surrounded by people

or by no one

On this earth, we’ll all feel lonely.

But not with Jesus.

He understand.

He cares.

He’s there.

He wants to listen.

And out of His heart, He says:

“I Love You.”

Verses to remember in times of loneliness:

“I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” - Matthew 28:20

“For He hath said, ‘I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” - Hebrews 13:5

“And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the LORD Almighty.” - 2 Corinthians 6:18

“For the Lord will NOT forsake His people for His great name’s sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make YOU His people.” - 1 Samuel 12:22
