  1. Make the pizza crust according to the website linked above. Keep the dough rising in a covered bowl, while you prepare the rest of the pizza.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the can of tomato sauce with the spices and herbs listed above. Cover and set aside.

  3. In a blender, pour in the cashews (I did not soak mine), water, lemon, oil, garlic powder, onion powder and salt. Start the blender on low for a minute and then turn up to high until the cashews are fully blended (about 3-5 minutes). Set aside.

  4. Pre-heat your oven to 480F. Depending on how fast or slow your oven pre-heats, you may need to pre-heat it sometime before or after.

  5. Cut up all your vegetables/toppings that you have chosen. If you don’t want any toppings, go ahead and skip this step.

  6. Prepare two separate pans for your pizzas. I greased mine and put parchment paper on two regular cookie sheet pans.

  7. Go ahead and take the pizza dough out of your bowl. Separate it into two separate pieces to make two pizzas. Roll out the first ball of dough. I used a regular kitchen roller. Pinch the edges of the dough to make the crust. Place this piece onto the first sheet, then use a fork to gently poke holes all over the pizza, with the exception of the crust. This helps prevent big air bubbles from forming when the crust bakes and creates an even-baked pizza. Put a bit of oil in a bowl, I used grape-seed oil, and use a brush to lightly brush the oil all over the pizza, including the crust. Repeat with the second dough-ball. Put aside.

  8. Grab a small saucepan and pour in your vegan β€œcheese.” Keep on medium-low until it is completely heated up. This will help the β€œcheese” thicken up and look more like melted mozzarella cheese. Occasionally stir, so none of the β€œcheese” sticks to the bottom or the sides.

  9. While the cheese is heating up, grab your tomato sauce mixture and spread a moderate amount over the pizzas. I used another brush to spread it. Optional: I got a bit of onion powder and garlic powder and sprinkled it over the crust for a bit of extra flavor.

  10. Split the β€œcheese” amount into two containers or two small bowls for your two separate pizzas. Take about 3/4 of the amount in one of the bowls and gently spread it all over the pizza. If you are not adding toppings, go ahead and use up the full amount. It is okay if it mixes up a bit with the tomato sauce. This actually makes it look like the β€œcheese” is melted into the sauce! Do the same with the second pizza.

  11. Add your toppings to the pizza and then add the rest of the β€œcheese” over the toppings. Repeat for the other pizza.

In the video I pre-heated my oven until the end because it pre-heats very quickly. Like I mentioned earlier, you may need to pre-heat yours earlier or later, depending on your oven.

  12. If your oven is pre-heated, place your pizzas in the middle-rack of your oven. Bake for about 10 minutes. I like my crust on the crispier side, so I left mine for 15ish minutes.

  13. Enjoy!~ πŸ• πŸ• πŸ•
