Shemar, while having exposure to the Christian faith, "knowing" that God is real and going to church a handful amount of times, never really had a relationship with God. And due to this lack, he tried satisfying this sense of belonging in other places. As a result of coming in contact with a Seventh-day Adventist and a Seventh-day Adventist Church, Shemar came to know, over time, who God is and to appreciate His great love for him. God used the people of that church to show Shemar that he has a belonging, and it is with Him. Today, Shemar can testify that God knows what you are going through and He has your best interests at heart, and is actively working for your good and salvation.
