Although I was not born into an Adventist church, later on, my mother actually accepted the SDA message, which shaped me growing up until the point where I decided to follow Jesus for myself. Even after accepting Jesus, I fell into pitfalls, bad habits. I listened to and watched inappropriate things, leading me into a depressive state where I felt like I failed God. I opened up to my mom about it after a while, which was not easy, but I knew I needed help. Through this terrible experience I put myself into, I was able to find God's mercy and love even in my deepest, darkest moments. When I felt so ashamed of myself, I found His comfort and love which compelled and overwhelmed me with gratitude and longing to give something back to Him. That's when I decided that I wanted to serve Him in some way and help others! I planned to go into medicine, because I am very into medical missionary work, but after so much prayer, He made it clear that it was theology what I was supposed to do, hence me being where I am at now! God has been so faithful and in return I can give my life to Him in service, to help, love and lead others to Him! And praying that we continue growing what has started here into something awesome for God's glory!
